Cookie Policy
Last updated: 8 August 2026
This website is operated by Aurea Intelligence Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17373910), registered office 14 Inkerman Street, Bacup, OL13 9JD. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Aurea Intelligence Ltd.
The short version: this site runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It stores exactly one value in your browser, and only after you press a button on the cookie banner.
1. Categories in use
- Strictly necessary — one stored value that records your answer to the cookie banner, so we do not keep asking. This is the only category active on this site.
- Analytics — none. We do not measure visitors, sessions or conversions on this site.
- Marketing / advertising — none. No pixels, no remarketing tags, no social trackers.
- Functional — none beyond the banner choice above.
2. What is actually stored
| Name | Type | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
ausoftware_cookie_choice |
localStorage entry (not a cookie in the technical sense) | This website (first party) | Records whether you pressed Accept or Decline, so the banner stops appearing | Until you clear this site's data in your browser |
That is the complete list. Nothing is written before you press a button, and pressing Decline stores the word "declined" and nothing else — there is no tracking to switch off, because none was ever loaded.
3. Third parties this site contacts
Two external providers serve files to your browser. Neither sets a cookie for these requests, but both receive your IP address and browser details as an unavoidable part of delivering the file:
- Google Fonts (
fonts.googleapis.com,fonts.gstatic.com) — serves the Bebas Neue and Space Grotesk typefaces. Google Privacy Policy ↗ - Cloudflare cdnjs (
cdnjs.cloudflare.com) — serves the GSAP animation library used for the scroll effects. Cloudflare Privacy Policy ↗
There are no embedded videos, maps, chat widgets or social plugins on this site. The address block links out to Google Maps, but only if you choose to click it, and that opens in a new tab under Google's own terms.
4. Changing or withdrawing your choice
Because your answer lives in this site's own browser storage, clearing this site's data resets it and the banner will ask you again on your next visit:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data and
permissions → find
ausoftware.uk→ Delete. - Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → find
ausoftware.uk→ Remove. - Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data → find
ausoftware.uk→ Remove Selected. - Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data →
See all cookies and site data → find
ausoftware.uk→ Delete.
You can also block or delete cookies for every site from the same menus, and browsers offer a private browsing mode that discards everything when you close the window. Blocking storage on this site has no effect on how it works — the banner will simply reappear each visit.
5. Why we bother telling you this
The Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 require consent before storing anything non-essential in your browser, and require clear information about what is stored either way. We keep this page accurate rather than generic: if we ever add analytics, this table changes first and the script goes behind the Accept button, not in front of it.
6. Questions
Email [email protected] or call +44 7988 036 715. How we handle personal data more broadly is set out in our Privacy Policy, which also explains your rights and how to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
